  Process
In order to ensure well-written and accurate translation, as well as satisfaction on both the client's and the translator's side, we use the following process:
Ordering
A prospective client will place the order for translation project by mail, our online form or by phone. We assign a Project Manager for each translation project, who will monitor the whole project and see to it that his/her translation project is completed on time. The Project Manager first has to analyze the received material and establish the translation plan with scheduling and budgeting.
Translation
After the Project Manager has carefully assigned a translator or translators for his/her project, the translation stage of the project may begin. In handling large projects, our workflow is automated. Note: This is not to be confused with Machine Translation, where a computer program takes the place of the person in the translation process. Automated translation means using appropriate CAT (Computer Assisted Tools) in order to assure consistency in terminology and quality in projects that have to be split between several translators. All of our translations are done by real people.
Quality Assurance
Key elements of our quality assurance process is proofreading and editing of translation. Proofreading is used to ensure correctness of translation in terms of grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, etc. Editing is used to ensure correctness of translation in terms of terminology, appropriateness and style. These linguistic checks are hard to automate, so they are always performed by native linguists. For formatting checks, we use both integrated and standalone QA tools. After the publication and prior to delivery, we have the final product checked in our QA department and by the translator.
Publication and Delivery
Mirara Translations is a full-service translation agency, offering DTP and web development with translation services. We work with technical experts to offer delivery in any of the preferred formats. For small projects, translation can be delivered by e-mail or by regular post on CD.
Quick turn-around time
In everything we do, we make all the necessary arrangements to always stick to deadlines. When working on large and long term projects, we ensure creation and update of a Translation Memory which captures terminology in each language to ensure consistency across all languages and allows for quick turn-around and substantial discounting of future projects.
